Local Businessman Joins GCHC Board

Zac Bailes has joined the Greene County Health Care Board of Directors.

Quality & Safety Director LeAnne Avery led the swearing-in ceremony in January during Greene County Health Care’s first monthly meeting of the new year.

Bailes and his wife Stacy own Farmer and the Dail in Snow Hill. He brings a wealth of experience to the board in business development, management, financial management, fundraising/funding strategies, social services, non-profit and public relations and marketing.

In the past 50 years, Greene County Health Care has evolved from a single community health center (CHC) to a Federally Qualified Health Center with sites in Greene, Pitt and Pamlico counties that provide medical, dental and behavioral health care to the people of eastern North Carolina.
